How to Write SEO Content That Google (and People) Actually Like

This is the burning question you should be asking every time you sit down to write content for your site:

And that’s: “What does the person searching actually want?”

Are they trying to learn something? Compare a few options? Buy something right now? Whatever they want, your content needs to give it to them - in a way that makes sense.

So if someone Googles “how to change a tyre,” they want a clear, step-by-step guide… not a 2,000-word essay on the evolution of tyres.

And if they’re searching “best email marketing software,” they’re looking for side-by-side comparisons or real recommendations, not a beginner’s guide to what email marketing is.

Google’s advanced. And more than you think. It's got really good at matching content to intent. So if your page matches what someone’s actually looking for, you’re already winning.

Structure That Actually Works

You don’t need fancy words or long paragraphs in your content. We as people are known to scan online, and have a tendency to just scroll past large amounts of text.

To avoid this happening, you’ll want to use clear headings. Short sentences. Bullet points. White space. And bold text any good bits.

Basically, you’re just making it so easy to get what they need, quickly.

Oh, and make sure to get to the point. Whatever your page promises to answer, do it in the first few paragraphs. Don’t bury it halfway down hoping that they’ll scroll to find out, because chances are, they won’t.

Quality Over Keyword Density

You don’t need to hit a minimum “keyword density” percentage. Instead, just focus on using your main keyword where it makes sense, focusing on the title, intro, and maybe a header, other than that, just  focus on being genuinely helpful.
